Ingredients
  • 1 (12-ounce) can SPAM® Gochujang Flavored
  • 24 Korean rice cakes, cooked and drained
  • 6 bamboo skewers
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • Chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Directions
  1. Slice SPAM® Gochujang Flavored lengthwise into 6 slices. Cut each slice in half crosswise. Cut each half  in half lengthwise to create 24 pieces.
  2. Thread each skewer with alternating rice cakes and SPAM® Gochujang Flavored pieces.
  3. In bowl, combine ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, gochujang, sesame oil and garlic.
  4. In large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Place skewers down in skillet. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, turning, or until slightly crispy.
  5. Brush each skewer with ketchup mixture. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
