Ingredients
- 3 ounces SPAM® Classic, sliced thin on a meat slicer
- 1 (6-inch) soft French roll
- 2 tablespoons of softened butter, unsalted
- 2 ounces kosher dill pickle, thinly sliced lengthwise
- 2 ounces Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons spicy prepared mustard
Directions
- Preheat a flattop grill or panini press to 375°F or to medium high.
- Cut the roll in half and place 1 ounce of cheese on the bottom half, then layer the thinly sliced SPAM® Classic on top, folding it as you go down the bread.
- Top the SPAM® Classic with the pickle slices and the remaining 1 ounce of cheese.
- Spread the mustard on the roll, then top the roll and place on sandwich.
- Brush the remaining butter on both sides of the bread, and place on the grill for 2 minutes. While grilling, firmly press down on the sandwich.
- After one side has turned golden brown and crispy, flip the sandwich and grill for 2 to 3 minutes longer while pressing down.
