- 1 (12-ounce) can SPAM® Gochujang Flavored
- 24 Korean rice cakes, cooked and drained
- 6 bamboo skewers
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon gochujang
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 3 tablespoons oil
- Chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
- Slice SPAM® Gochujang Flavored lengthwise into 6 slices. Cut each slice in half crosswise. Cut each half in half lengthwise to create 24 pieces.
- Thread each skewer with alternating rice cakes and SPAM® Gochujang Flavored pieces.
- In bowl, combine ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, gochujang, sesame oil and garlic.
- In large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Place skewers down in skillet. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, turning, or until slightly crispy.
- Brush each skewer with ketchup mixture. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
